- Studies show that Cannabidiol (CBD) can reduce anxiety in people with generalized social anxiety disorder
- Studies show that CBD helps with inflammation associated to pain
Let’s face it, going to college or working a professional 9-5 job can be physically and mentally draining. The stress of day to day life is intense enough as it is. When you add in deadlines from bosses or teachers, it can be overwhelming to a point of inaction, overthinking, or poor performance. If you are an athlete or blue collar worker, you rely on your hands and body to perform a job every day. Imagine how difficult it is to reach your full potential when you have pain affects your ability to move and think. It makes one wonder how entrepreneurs and professional athletes manage to perform so consistently with the amount of stress and pain their bodies experience on a daily basis.
It might be easy to call them some form of super human, naturally gifted and destined for greatness since birth. Aside from a handful of them, like Lebron James or Elon Musk (who might be super-human), the majority of professional athletes and entrepreneurs are nothing spectacular compared to you or me. They wake up and put their clothes on just as we do. They have access to the same amount of time in the day as you do, and they certainly experience pain and stress like the majority of us. So what is it that separates them from the rest of us?
What Is It That Makes Them Great Performers?
I can’t answer that question for certain, but I can tell you this… They have the financial means to hire chefs, coaches, medical professionals, personal assistants, and even chauffeurs to help them minimize their stress and pain. Think of how much easier your life would be if you could eliminate stress and pain, like many of the elites we idolize. So what does the average human do to combat stress and pain in their everyday life, without spending six figures?
As an ex-college wrestler and young entrepreneur, stress and pain (from inflammation) are two things I learned to deal with. I almost gave up and started accepting it as a way of life, until I discovered CBD. My doctors had me jacked up on pain killers and anti-inflammatories to combat the chronic pain and inflammation from my sport’s injuries, in which the only “next step” was to take more toxic drugs. Taking these harmful substances went against my values, so I researched into cannabinoid therapies. I then discovered CBD…. And it does much more than help with anxiety.
CBD Can Help To Reduce Stress And Inflammation
The best thing about CBD is that it’s affordable. It’s possible to live a stress and pain free life for less than $2 per day by using CBD tinctures like the Calming Mint Spray. Around a 10-20mg dose of full- spectrum CBD oil like the Calming Mint Spray can help to reduce stress levels drastically in as little as two weeks of daily use. This daily regimen will also help to keep inflammation down. This allowed me to stay physically fit while I healed. Instead of having debilitating pain in my knees and back after workouts, I noticed I was only experiencing the usual delayed onset muscle soreness associated with weight training.
CBD Helped Reduce My Inflammation Associated With Pain…
I started implementing yoga, a healthy diet, and plant medicine (in the form of CBD) into my routines, saying goodbye to OTC and prescription drugs completely. I started to notice a shift in my ECS (endocannabinoid system), my body and mind seemed to be balancing itself out. My flare ups in my back and my stress levels from work dropped drastically. I would love to say CBD was the cure all, Panacea, but that would be a stretch.
I will say, instead of loading up on pain killers and anti-inflammatories I use topical balms or lotions, like the Wildflower Cool Stick, when I feel the pain/inflammation onset. The sooner I notice the pain and the sooner I can apply the CBD topically the sooner my inflammation and pain are stopped and reverted back to a healthy level.
CBD is NOT a cure all, like many might think. CBD does help greatly with anxiety, stress, pain, and inflammation. It has been over 2 years since taking advil, or any prescription for that matter. A good topical CBD and a wellness tincture have become part of my daily health, and I can say I do more activities with less pain than before.
